Never leave live animals, including pets, in a self-storage unit. It violates storage regulations and is illegal. If you can’t bring your pet with you, make arrangements with a trusted family member, friend, pet sitter, or professional caregiver.

• Combustible or flammable substances:

Gas, paint, petrol, oil, cleaning solvents, and compressed gases should be kept out of self-storage due to their flammability, which poses risks to both stored items and the facility.

• Firearms, explosives, weapons, or ammunition:

As outlined by firearms regulations, these items must be stored in locations inaccessible to individuals without proper certification.

• Hazardous substances:

Chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents, toxic waste, propane tanks, asbestos, etc., are all prohibited from self-storage.
